Capello: "Lautaro in the Argentina team is more Robin than Batman. Juventus, Kolo Muani are the right choice"
Fabio Capello discusses Lautaro Martinez's role in the Argentina squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup, praising his contributions alongside Lionel Messi and commenting on other players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Kolo Muani.
Fabio Capello is back talking about the 2026 World Cup and he gave a long interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport, in which he praised Lautaro Martinez, who is considered the perfect teammate of Lionel Messi in the Argentina team: "He sacrifices a lot. Compared to the way we see it in Italy, Lautaro is more like Robin than Batman, but it's not easy to give up on someone like him."
Capello also praised Lionel Messi, a man who has broken all records and proven that age cannot hinder talent: "Messi is a genius. He doesn't run much, but is always at the right time."

The comparison between Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo continues, but according to Capello, Ronaldo has lost some of his strength and no longer jumps as high as before: "I predicted this at the age of 41, but he still has an innate instinct to score goals."
Finally, Capello mentioned Lukaku and Kolo Muani, two strikers who are attached to Italy for many different reasons. He believes that Lukaku is proving his value, but at Napoli, with Hojlund, he is no longer as important a factor as before. Meanwhile, Capello wants to see Kolo Muani at Juventus: "It would be the right choice, no risks."
