Crystal Palace is about to be signed by Sierra Enge
Crystal Palace are close to signing midfielder Sierra Enge from Strasbourg, marking the team's first signing since returning to the Women's Super League.

Newly promoted Women's Super League team Crystal Palace is preparing to sign midfielder Sierra Enge from French club Strasbourg. The 26-year-old American has agreed a two-year deal with the club and will join subject to international approval.
Sierra Enge will become coach Jo Potter's first signing since Crystal Palace returned to the Women's Super League after a year in the second division. "The Women's Super League is the best league in the world and I'm happy to be able to play here," said Enge. "It's great to be at Palace, the facilities here are fantastic and I'm very happy to be here."

In 2023, she was selected by San Diego Wave FC in the second round of the National Women's Super League Draft before moving to France in 2024. The midfielder, who played for the US U23 team, helped the newly promoted Ligue 1 team last season finish ninth and seventh in her two seasons, playing in 21 of 22 matches in the 2026-27 season.
Coach Potter added: "[Sierra] brings real quality and depth to our midfield as we aim to successfully return to the Women's Super League."
