Former player of the Soviet and Russian teams, Alexander Mostovoy shared his expectations about the matches in round 3 of Group E of the 2026 World Cup. In the final match, the Curaçao team will meet Ivory Coast, while Ecuador will face the German team. Both matches will take place at 23:00 Moscow time on June 25.
"Curaçao - Ivory Coast: This is not an easy match for both teams. Obviously, Ivory Coast is somewhat stronger, but Curaçao is an unexpected team. So, I think the match can end with a score of 1-2 or 1-1. Ecuador - Germany also has a similar situation, because Germany has no more goals. I think Ecuador will be very determined, and I predict the score will be 1-1," Mostovoy shared on his Telegram channel.
