A few years ago, he inaugurated a new kindergarten in Pieve Torina, Macerata province, built for 60 students after the devastating earthquake of 2016, along with the Paride Tilesi stadium in Amatrice. “Restoring places where communities can gather is essential,” Baresi said at the time. "These are the places where recovery begins. We all felt deeply moved by what happened in Central Italy, and the reaction from the sporting world was immediate because sport is another tool that helps us bond together."
It is impossible to forget Fondazione Milan's collaboration with the charity PlayMore!, developed right here in Milano to promote social and sporting inclusion for people with disabilities, migrants and young people in difficult situations. Baresi is always ready to assist on the pitch, as well as for the inauguration of a number of community sports facilities, most recently at the Madonna dei Poveri parish center in Milan in 2024.
