Fabio Grosso will be the new coach of Fiorentina. This issue is no longer in doubt, as the agreement between the Fiorentina club and the coach has been agreed, and the contract will last for two years, i.e. until June 30, 2028, with an option for the next season. There are only a few hours, at most a few days, left before the former 2006 world champion defender with Italy arrives in Florence to sign for Fiorentina and start planning for next season with sporting director Fabio Paratici. However, he must first resolve the contract with Sassuolo. There is one more step before the coach can officially become Paolo Vanoli's replacement at the Tuscany city, which is the termination of his current contract with Sassuolo. Grosso will meet with the club's board of directors on Thursday, and that will be when the two sides part ways through an agreement to release the coach, who will then be free to sign with Fiorentina. The transfer market will be difficult. After the announcement, as mentioned, Fabio Grosso will plan for the next season together with Paratici and the two will have a first discussion about the transfer market. A market that is not easy for Fiorentina, when there are many players to buy for the new coach's 4-3-3 scheme, but the budget is not high. Therefore, player transfers will also be very important, with coaches and management needing to determine which players will leave.
