Defender Raul Asencio could leave Real Madrid under the influence of Jose Mourinho

The Spanish striker has had a rather difficult career here and has never been an official choice in the squad. The appearance of new recruits makes his position more difficult.


According to some information, coach Jose Mourinho asked Real Madrid to consider the possibility of letting Asencio leave, although there had previously been speculation that he would evaluate the player during the pre-season before making a decision. A report from SPORT said that one factor influencing this decision was the good relationship between Mourinho and Alvaro Arbeloa, the former coach of Real Madrid.

Arbeloa spoke to Mourinho about the off-field problems that Asencio created last season. The problems between Arbeloa and Asencio were widely reported in the media. The player was unhappy when he was not included in the squad for the UEFA Champions League match against Manchester City and reacted by not being present in a domestic league match against Elche, when Militao and Alaba were both unable to play, forcing Rudiger to play when he had planned to rest.
