Inter is close to buying Palestra, the next target is Curtis Jones
Inter has nearly completed the purchase of Palestra and will turn to Curtis Jones. Roma is considering transfer deals to balance finances, while Atalanta is active in the transfer market with targets like Gaetano and Jashari.
Inter is in the final stages of completing the deal for Palestra, a player owned by Atalanta. The deal is expected to close in the next few hours for a fee of 50 million euros plus some bonuses. Once completed, Inter will turn their attention to Curtis Jones, coach Chivu's favorite player for midfield. However, recruiting Jones was not easy, because Liverpool kept the price of 30 million euros even though his contract only had one year left. Inter are hoping to fund the deal by selling Frattesi, who is receiving interest from Nottingham Forest.
After selling Baldanzi, Roma is considering other deals to stabilize finances before the deadline on June 30. It is possible that the team will liquidate some young players, but we cannot rule out the possibility of having to sacrifice a big player like Soulé, who is of interest to many Premier League clubs such as Sunderland, Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

Atalanta, currently active in the transfer market, sold Ederson to Manchester United for 45 million euros plus bonuses. With the sale of Palestra, this team is expected to earn a total of 100 million euros. Atalanta's next goal is to add at least 3 players to the midfield, of which Gaetano is the target name. Contact with Cagliari is ongoing, although the two sides remain at odds over price with Cagliari asking for 20 million euros while Atalanta want to spend less. Besides, Jashari is also a potential name that Atalanta is keeping an eye on. The player once joined Milan from Bruges for a fee of nearly 40 million euros but was injured.
Finally, Fiorentina are also looking for new names in defense and attack, with Norton Cuffy for right wing and Thorstvedt for midfield being pursued. Meanwhile, Koleosho, a player who returned to Burnley after a loan period at Paris FC, is also in the spotlight.
