The Reds had been linked with signing the French international midfielder before he moved to Turin from OGC Nice. During Jürgen Klopp's time in office, Liverpool was the leading team in the race to win the French midfielder's signature. However, for some reason, a move to Merseyside has not been done for the former Nice midfielder.
