Liverpool and Barcelona approached Micky van de Ven

According to De Telegraaf, Liverpool and Barcelona have both made moves to recruit Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Micky van de Ven. These two teams are trying to take advantage of the deadlock in contract extension negotiations between Van de Ven and Spurs. Liverpool are currently looking for a new centre-back after Ibrahima Konate moved to Real Madrid. Previously, this team contacted Jan Paul van Hecke, but this player chose to join Spurs instead of Liverpool.

Barcelona also needs to strengthen its defense. This team was once said to be interested in Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni.
