Florian Bianchini's situation at Swansea City is becoming the focus of attention when coach Vitor Matos believes that this player will hardly have a chance to play. Bianchini's inability to make an impression last season could affect Swansea's next season, especially when the team is looking for players who can contribute more positively to the squad.

Coach Vitor Matos gave information about player Florian Bianchini's situation at Swansea City when he said that the possibility of this striker having a chance to play in the near future is very low. Swansea City is waiting for Bianchini's decision in the current transfer window, in the context that the team has invested nearly 2 million pounds to recruit this player from French club Bastia in the summer of 2024.
Bianchini, 25 years old, can play as a winger or center forward, but has not been able to make an impression in a Swansea shirt. In the 2024-2025 season, he scored 3 goals in 38 appearances, of which only 8 were starts in the tournament. Last season, Bianchini was loaned to Portsmouth but only made 11 appearances between August and November 2025 before being interrupted by a knee injury.
"I think it's important for him to find a place where he feels his worth in football," Matos said. Bianchini is currently under contract with Swansea until 2028, but Matos is not stopping the player if he finds a new home before the transfer deadline on September 1.
Matos has also suggested that even if Bianchini does not leave in this transfer window, there is a possibility that the two sides will part ways. "I think things will be clearer when the transfer window is over. We'll see what happens and if he leaves the club. If not, we need to talk and see what's best," said the Swansea boss.
In recent times, Bianchini has also played for Swansea's U21 team, participating in both the Premier League Cup and the Premier League Professional Development League this season. His current situation is a big question for both Swansea's players and coaching staff in the near future.
What happens next
Swansea City are awaiting Bianchini's decision in the transfer window, with the possibility that he could seek a new home before the September 1 deadline. If no transfer occurs, there could be changes in the near future between Bianchini and the club, affecting both sides' seasons.
