Messi, Mbappé and Haaland broke a 72-year-old record at the World Cup
In an exciting day of competition at the 2026 World Cup, Norway defeated Senegal 3-2, while France beat Iraq 3-0 and Argentina beat Austria 2-0. Messi, Mbappé and Haaland scored many goals, breaking a 72-year record.
On October 22, Norway won 3-2 against Senegal in the second match of the 2026 World Cup group stage. Haaland scored two goals and Pedersen scored the other goal for the Nordic team, while Ismaila Sarr scored two goals for the African team. Previously, France defeated Iraq 3-0 with two goals from Mbappé and one goal from Dembélé. This result helps France and Norway officially win tickets to the next round of the World Cup (round of 32 teams) early.
