Radimov's scandal about his relationship with Talalaev

Vladislav Radimov, former Zenit midfielder, spoke about the tense relationship with Baltika head coach Andrey Talalaev. During the past season, Radimov and Talalaev had many public debates in the media.

Radimov said: "In my opinion, Talalaev tried to find opportunities in other teams during the spring. He did not hide this, but openly said: 'If you want me, you need to pay'. I really do not envision Talalaev in any big team. If he was attractive to a top team, he would probably have been there a long time ago."

Regarding his arguments with Talalaev, Radimov has no regrets: "I don't regret calling him 'Andryusha'. When I look at Rakhimov, I see it's Rashid Mamatkulovich. With Cherchesov, I call him Stanislav Salamovich. As for Semak, even though I've known him since I was 16, I still call him Sergey Bogdanovich. But when I look at Talalaev, I can only think of the name." 'Andryusha'. If he wants to argue, I don't object, he can say what he wants. But his arguments with people like Bubnov make me really angry. First, because of the age difference, and second, Bubnov played for the Soviet team — a team that Talalaev never had the opportunity to attend, even if only to watch practice.

The relationship between Radimov and Talalaev became further strained during the round 25 match between Krasnodar and Baltika (2:2), when Talalaev was unhappy with the way Radimov called his name, leading to an argument between the two. Since then, they have repeatedly publicly criticized each other in the media.
