Real Madrid confirms agreement with Nico Paz
Real Madrid have confirmed that Nico Paz will stay at Como for the 2026-2027 season, following the player's request. The deal includes a buyback option for Real Madrid for next season.

The saga surrounding young Argentinian talent, Nico Paz, has officially ended. Real Madrid has announced that they have reached an agreement with Como for Nico Paz (21 years old) to stay at the Italian club for the 2026-2027 season. Below is the official announcement from Real Madrid: "Real Madrid C. F., Como 1907 and Nico Paz have reached an agreement for the player to stay at the Italian club for the 2026-2027 season. This agreement is made at the request of the player himself, and also allows Real Madrid to retain the right to unilaterally buy back the registration rights of Nico Paz for the 2027-2028 season." Nico Paz has become a standout star during the Serie A season under the guidance of Cesc Fàbregas, so the player has asked to continue his development in Italy, where he is preparing to play in the Champions League. However, to allow its young star to leave permanently for a large fee estimated at around 60 million euros, Madrid's management has guaranteed to fully protect its position. Los Blancos have officially kept a unilateral buyback clause in effect for the 2027-2028 season (estimated at 80 million euros). This is a perfect deal for Real Madrid, as they receive a large sum of money while retaining full control over the long-term future of this talented youngster.
