In Trigoria, the race against time has begun with less than a week to go until June 30. AS Roma are still facing a requirement to collect 50 million euros in transfer profits to comply with the agreement with UEFA and avoid heavy penalties. Despite the limited time, the club is still confident of being able to achieve this financial target, but the reality requires extreme attention: as of June 24, Roma had not yet received any official offers for its players, only a few informal approaches. Tony D’Amico, tasked with finding a buyer, is looking to resolve the situation. There is no shortage of players ready to leave: the most prominent name is still Matias Soulé, who is attracting a lot of attention but is still far from leaving. Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund, Stuttgart and a number of Saudi Arabian clubs are watching, but a specific offer is needed to satisfy Roma. Another name that can bring significant income to the club is Artem Dovbyk, but strong interest from Spain still only stops at loan offers. Currently, the players who are almost certain to leave Roma could be Romano and Salah-Eddine. These two deals will generate more profits, but still do not completely solve the problem. An immediate boost is needed to avoid having to sacrifice the most valuable players in the squad close to the deadline.
