Sampdoria is currently making positive moves in finding a new goalkeeper to strengthen the team. According to information from sports sources, this team is targeting Torino goalkeeper Alberto Paleari. The appearance of Lucas Perri at Torino is expected to push Paleari out of this team, and Sampdoria is taking advantage of time to quickly sign him.
Goalkeeper Alberto Paleari, born in 1992, is expected to leave Torino as soon as Lucas Perri's transfer is officially confirmed. Sampdoria has had the first contacts with Torino and Paleari's representatives, in order to find a possible agreement to bring him back to the Liguria team. According to information from TorinoGranata, contacts between the two sides have increased in recent hours, showing Sampdoria's determination to recruit this goalkeeper.
Paleari is excited about the possibility of a move to Sampdoria, where he will have the opportunity to compete for a starting position with newly signed goalkeeper, Vindahl. This is a good opportunity for Paleari, as he can show his ability and find a solid position in goal, something he could not do at Torino.
Currently, Sampdoria is facing a difficult problem in arranging personnel in goal. With Paleari's arrival, one of the two current goalkeepers, Simone Ghidotti, born in 2000, or Andrey Krastev, born in 2008, will have to leave the team, possibly on loan to have the opportunity to play more. This decision will depend on the coaching staff's assessment of each player's ability in the near future.
This transfer not only benefits Sampdoria but also opens up new opportunities for Paleari in his career. If successful, this could become an important turning point to help him assert his position in Italian football. Let's wait and see the next developments in this deal!
What happens next
If the deal to recruit Paleari is successful, Sampdoria will have to decide between retaining one of the two current goalkeepers, Simone Ghidotti or Andrey Krastev. Both are young talents, but with Paleari's arrival, one of them will likely be loaned out to gain more experience. This will help Sampdoria have a stronger squad when entering the Serie A season.
