Dariusz Stalmach, a 20-year-old player, has officially transferred from 1. FC Magdeburg to SV Werder Bremen. During a year and a half at Magdeburg, Stalmach played 24 matches in the German second division, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He is Bremen's fourth rookie this summer. Director of football Peter Niemeyer said: "Dariusz is a player with great potential and we have been following his development for a long time. We are confident in his ability to develop and want to perfect his skills together." Stalmach gained valuable experience playing alongside legend Lukas Podolski at Gornik Zabrze, where he made his professional debut at the age of 15. Then, in the summer of 2022, he moved to AC Milan before coming to Magdeburg. Head coach Daniel Thioune also shared that Stalmach is a player with good technique, but emphasized that it is necessary to keep expectations at a reasonable level. "He will be a great addition to our squad and I look forward to working with him," Thioune said. Stalmach expressed his excitement at joining Werder Bremen and cannot wait to play in the Bundesliga, especially at the Weserstadion. The Bremen football team will begin training on July 10 and Stalmach will take part in his first training session on July 12.
