AS Roma, a team playing in Serie A, is actively looking for additions to the attack in the second phase of the season. According to information from Corriere dello Sport, Real Madrid's young talent Endrick is becoming the top priority target of Sports Director Tony D'Amico. The Italian capital team had discussions with Endrick's representative during the last summer transfer window, and currently, this player is still considering the possibility of joining Roma next January, especially since he cannot play much at the Bernabéu under the guidance of coach José Mourinho.
Endrick, 20, has only made one appearance for Real Madrid this season, and that was just four minutes in a 3-2 win over Elche. According to the report, Endrick has informed some close friends in Brazil that a move to Roma is a possible scenario when the winter transfer window opens. This shows the young player's desire to find an opportunity to play more regularly, something he is unlikely to achieve if he continues to stay at Real Madrid.
In addition to looking for Endrick, Roma is also considering many other options to strengthen their attack. This team hopes that Endrick's appearance will help them be more creative and dynamic in their playing style, especially in the context that they are trying to compete for high positions in Serie A and participate in the Champions League.
Notably, Real Madrid will have a trip to Roma in the Champions League group stage on October 14. This match is not only important for both teams but also an opportunity for Endrick to showcase his talent in front of Serie A fans.
What happens next
If Endrick decides to join Roma, he will likely have the opportunity to play more regularly, which is very important for the development of a young player. Roma will also continue to look for other options to strengthen the squad, to improve competitiveness in the rest of the season.
