Transfer news: Manchester United and Arsenal pursue Alex Scott, Monga, Bowen, and many other players
Manchester United and Arsenal are chasing a number of players including Alex Scott and Jeremy Monga, while Aston Villa have an interest in Jarrod Bowen. Real Madrid targets Enzo Fernandez and Erling Haaland, along with many other names.


Manchester United and Arsenal are monitoring Bournemouth and England midfielder Alex Scott, but a successful deal could cost around £60m. Arsenal are also in contact with Leicester City over a deal for English winger Jeremy Monga, with the Gunners expected to pay a reasonable fee for the 16-year-old to avoid having to go to court. Real Madrid will open negotiations with Chelsea over the transfer of Argentine international midfielder Enzo Fernandez, 25, as they have identified him as their top target this summer. Aston Villa have shown a strong interest in West Ham and England winger Jarrod Bowen, 29, but a deal could be difficult until Villa deals with player sales. Arsenal are continuing to negotiate a potential deal for Atletico Madrid and Argentina striker Julian Alvarez, 26. Bayern Munich plan to double the salary of midfielder Michael Olise, 24, as part of a deal to keep him at the club until 2031. Real Madrid are interested in Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland, 25, if winger Vinicius Jr. leaves the Bernabeu. Manchester United is expected to officially approach West Ham and Portugal midfielder Mateus Fernandes, 21, in the coming days. Borussia Monchengladbach and Switzerland defender Nico Elvedi, 29, is open to a move to Leeds United. Aston Villa is negotiating with Flamengo about signing Brazilian defender Emerson Royal, 27 years old.
