After 15 years, the cooperation between TSV 1860 München and investor Hasan Ismaik has come to an end. The announcement was made by the club on Thursday evening. According to a club press release, "TSV München von 1860 e.V. has terminated its cooperation contract with HAM International Limited as of 30 May 2011 for important reasons". This means the club have parted ways with investor Hasan Ismaik after 15 years of working together. Ismaik unexpectedly canceled the approved loans on 21 May, pushing the club into the lower league. The 2.7 million euros needed for a license to play in the third division were not transferred. Furthermore, Ismaik has also announced that he will not save the club from bankruptcy. "I think it's clear to everyone now that it's not possible to simply provide money every year," he said in an interview with SZ. The question now is not whether one person will give another loan to another person, but how the club will build a stable future without depending on emergency handouts every season. Now, the cooperation between Ismaik and the club playing in the third division has officially ended. Whether this investor will sue or not is still unclear. The club has also said that "TSV 1860 München will take all necessary organizational and legal measures for the 2026/2027 season. The club has received a license from the Bayern Football Association for the Bayern lower division. The playing rights now belong to e.V., so the team will probably play under the name TSV 1860 München e.V. in the lower division. KGaA has been separated ra still exists, but due to the termination of the cooperation contract, they have lost the right to compete.
