Real Madrid presidential candidate proposed the return of Raul and Hierro
Enrique Riquelme, Real Madrid's presidential candidate, has raised the possibility of Raul Gonzalez and Fernando Hierro returning to the club if he wins the election.
Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme has shared his thoughts on the possible return of Raul Gonzalez as sporting director and Fernando Hierro as academy director. Riquelme emphasized: "The presence of Raul and Hierro shows their professionalism. They come from Real, and if they are here, no one will be able to harm the club." Raul and Hierro will take this position if Riquelme wins the presidential election taking place on June 7. In addition to Riquelme, current president Florentino Perez also participates in the election. Raul left the Real youth team in 2025 after six years as main coach. Hierro left his position as sports director of Al-Nassr this past summer.
