Zazzaroni: "When we were Moratti, we breathed in a dream, today it's just management and commissions"

Recently, Ivan Zazzaroni criticized Inter Milan's current management style after recent failures in the transfer market. According to him, after Marco Palestra moved to Chelsea, now Nico Paz also returns to Como, these are unsuccessful deals due to other clubs offering higher prices. Zazzaroni shared on Corriere dello Sport: "When Inter belonged to Massimo Moratti, we all felt the atmosphere of dreams. This is not just for Inter fans."
He highlighted the difference between Moratti's time and the present: "At the end of June, many stars were recruited, Serie A attracted talent from Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and the Premier League. Today, investment funds only care about the financial aspect but forget the sports aspect."
Zazzaroni also pointed out that in the past, player representatives worried about the future of their clients and their families, but now, in the age of intermediaries, their only goal is to complete the transaction and the accompanying commissions. "Now, the players' families have replaced the representatives," he concluded.
