Mohsen Forouzan, the 38-year-old goalkeeper of the فولاد football team, had funny moments with the media team before meeting Alumin Arak. According to press reports, Hamed Lak, فولاد's main goalkeeper, had an excellent season with seven clean sheets and is currently at the top of the tournament's best goalkeeper list along with Habib Farahbasi. In his third season at فولاد, Hamed saved his team on several occasions and it seemed like his place in the first team would not be shaken.
What is interesting is that besides Hamed Lak, فولاد also has another famous goalkeeper, Mohsen Forouzan. After many years of playing in the top league and with teams like Esteghlal and Tractor, now at the age of 38, Forouzan is at فولاد and has not really had many opportunities to express himself in the squad over the past year and a half. However, a video before the match between فولاد and Alumin Arak captured Mohsen Forouzan as not simply a goalkeeper but also has other talents.
Before the match started, he picked up the media team's camera and started taking photos for several minutes. After reviewing his photos, Forouzan decided to do it again and ended up joking with the photographer saying "your camera quality is not good, you should buy a better camera".
Although this new season, Forouzan does not have the opportunity to play in the main squad of فولاد, he has no objections and has participated in training with high spirit in recent months. The goalkeeper was once one of the most controversial names in the tournament, but his situation in the past year or two has changed and often very little information is published about Mohsen Forouzan.
What happens next
While Hamed Lak continues to maintain his form and position in the first team, Forouzan will likely continue to support the team from the bench. The competition between goalkeepers at فولاد can create motivation for both, and fans will wait to see if Forouzan will get the opportunity to play in the near future.
