Context
Ryan Gravenberch, a young talent, is having difficulty asserting himself at Liverpool. His development will be an important factor in improving the team's midfield, but coach Iraola needs to find the optimal way to promote this player's abilities in the context that Liverpool is looking for a quality addition to the squad.
Why this is important
The 2-2 draw against Newcastle exposed the weaknesses in Liverpool's midfield, especially the instability of Ryan Gravenberch. The inability to control the midfield greatly affected the team's offensive ability, leaving strikers like Mohamed Salah and Darwin Núñez without many opportunities to score. This raises questions about Liverpool's competitiveness in this Premier League season.

- Liverpool had a 2-2 draw against Newcastle, but coach Andoni Iraola is having difficulty finding balance in the midfield, especially with Ryan Gravenberch.
- Liverpool’s alarming weakness is clear and signing a new winger won’t solve it.
The match between Liverpool and Newcastle last Sunday ended in a 2-2 draw, a result that did not satisfy the team's fans. Liverpool, under the guidance of coach Andoni Iraola, has revealed many problems in organizing play, especially in the midfield. This makes finding a new midfielder to supplement the squad more urgent than ever.
During the match, Ryan Gravenberch had an unconvincing performance. Although he had outstanding plays, he did not show the necessary stability in the central midfielder role. Coach Iraola still seems to be confused in finding the best way to use this player, which makes the team unable to operate smoothly.
Liverpool entered the game with determination, but not being able to win all 3 points against an opponent like Newcastle shows serious problems in their squad. In particular, the lack of balance in the midfield has prevented the offensive line from reaching its full potential. Strikers like Mohamed Salah or Darwin Núñez did not have many opportunities to score when the connection from the midfield was no longer effective.
Liverpool fans are very hopeful that the team's leadership will make positive transfer moves in the near future to add strength for the season. The shortage in the current squad not only reduces Liverpool's competitiveness but also affects the players' psychology. To return to the championship race, improving the midfield will be coach Iraola's top priority.
In short, Liverpool needs to quickly find solutions to the tactical problems they are facing. A new contract for the midfielder position could be the key for the team to return to their best form. They cannot continue to accept draws like this if they want to maintain their position in the Premier League.
What happens next
Coach Andoni Iraola will need to reconsider tactics and how to use Ryan Gravenberch to improve the situation. At the same time, Liverpool may be looking for a new midfielder in the next summer transfer window to strengthen the midfield. This addition not only helps improve gameplay but also creates positive competition in the squad, which is necessary for Liverpool to return to the championship race.
