Context
Juventus is currently in a difficult period, when they need to improve their performance to compete in Serie A. Spalletti, who has received trust from the board of directors, needs to quickly return the team to positive results to avoid criticism and maintain his position at the club.
Why this is important
Luciano Spalletti is facing great pressure from Juventus's board of directors, as he needs to prove his ability through upcoming matches. Unsatisfactory results could affect his future at one of Serie A's top clubs. In particular, Juventus' failure to win fourth place led to large financial losses, affecting his ability to transfer this season.

- Luciano Spalletti ha concluso la sua luna di miele. Da ora in poi contano solo i risultati.
Luciano Spalletti has received trust from the Juventus board of directors, but this trust is only limited and will be tested with each match. The first match in this important schedule will be against Rennes in the Europa League, where Juventus has two wins and has no problems heading towards the qualifying round. However, the next match against Lecce will be much more decisive, because the team needs to win. Lecce just had an impressive match against Udinese with a surprise victory at Bluenergy Stadium.
Over the past year, Luciano Spalletti has attracted attention from the press and fans, receiving less criticism than what a coach at Juventus usually faces. However, he is the only one since Conte not to reach fourth place in the rankings. Of course, there's also Allegri, who couldn't get his team into the Champions League due to a point deduction because of the plusvalenze incident. Obviously, extending the contract before the end of the season is to create confidence in coach Spalletti. But as usual, this came as a shock. Because failure to reach fourth place has led to Juventus losing 60 million euros in revenue for this season, which will greatly affect the team's transfer ability.
Overall, Luciano Spalletti is facing a big challenge when Juventus needs to return with positive results to maintain hope this season. The upcoming matches will be real tests for his abilities and Juventus' position in the Serie A race. The coach needs to prove that he can bring the team back to the winning path, otherwise, the pressure will only get greater.
What happens next
Juventus's next match against Lecce will be a decisive test for Spalletti, when the team needs to win to strengthen the confidence of the management. Lecce just had an impressive victory over Udinese, which increases the pressure on Juventus. If there are no positive results, Spalletti's future at Juventus may be questioned.
