Context
Aurelien Tchouameni is one of the most promising midfielders today, having attracted attention from many Premier League clubs, including Liverpool. Tchouameni is currently playing for Real Madrid and has an important role in coach Jose Mourinho's squad, which makes recruiting him more difficult for Liverpool.
Why this is important
Liverpool is currently struggling in midfield, which affects their ability to compete in the Premier League. Recruiting Aurelien Tchouameni will help strengthen the midfield, bringing necessary stability to the team. Tchouameni's presence can create balance and support for players like Florian Wirtz, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.

Coach Andoni Iraola has had an impressive start at Liverpool, leading this team undefeated in all competitions since the beginning of the season. However, the reality is that Liverpool are currently sixth in the Premier League and are only the second team in the majority of Champions League wins against Atletico Madrid. All the new players they have signed will need time to get used to coach Iraola's style of play, and when things start to stabilize, Liverpool will likely improve their current position.
One of the biggest problems Liverpool is facing right now is the midfield. Despite spending £116 million on Florian Wirtz last summer, this player has yet to show his value. Other options such as Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister can both play in this position but cannot take on the number 6 role, leading to the team lacking the necessary solidity in the midfield.
According to information from Football Insider, Liverpool is pursuing Aurelien Tchouameni, a long-term goal of theirs, but to get this player, they will have to spend a large sum of money. Tchouameni is currently an important part of coach Jose Mourinho's plans at Real Madrid and this team has no intention of letting him leave easily in the near future.
Liverpool will have difficulty recruiting Tchouameni due to high demands from Real Madrid. Although Liverpool have not hesitated to spend money in recent transfer windows, they may have to be more cautious in January to reduce spending.
Tchouameni is a perfect choice for Liverpool, and signing this player would be a huge success. He has proven his value in the Real Madrid squad and has the best defense in the world. Even though he is 26 years old, Tchouameni still has a lot of time to develop his career.
While signing Tchouameni won't solve Liverpool's domestic player problem, there's no denying that he is one of the best defensive players they can get their hands on at the moment.
What happens next
Liverpool will need to make an attractive offer to convince Real Madrid to release Tchouameni, an important player in coach Jose Mourinho's plans. If Liverpool are successful in recruiting Tchouameni, this could help them improve their position in the Premier League rankings. However, if not, they will have to look for other solutions to strengthen the midfield.
